Create a Google Business Page

Setting up a Google Business Page for a real estate agent and requesting reviews is a great way to enhance your online presence and build credibility. Here are step-by-step instructions for setting up your page without displaying your business address, which can make verification easier. If you wish display your business address, you will need to follow the instruction to upload a video to Google from your phone.

1. Sign in to Google My Business

• • Go to https://business.google.com/us/business-profile
  • Sign in with your Google account. If you don't have one, create a new Google account.

2. Add Your Business

• Enter your business name in the search bar.
• If your business name does not appear, click on Create a business with this name

3. Enter Business Information

• Business Name: Enter your business name.
• Business Category: Choose Real Estate Agent

4. Choose Business Location

• When asked if “Do want to add a location customers can visit?” say "no" to simplify the verification process. Say yes if you want you business pinpointed on Google Maps.
• When asked “Where do you serve your customers?” enter all of the areas you serve (e.g., cities, neighborhoods).

5. Contact Information

• Phone Number: Enter your business phone number.
• Website: Enter your business website URL.

6. Verify Your Business

• Google will prompt you to verify your business. Choose phone.
• If you answered “No” above to adding a location customers can visit, you should be able to verify without uploading a video.
• Follow the instructions to complete the verification process.
